09/24/2015 Sharjah (UAE)

In Sharjah there is a "Classic Car Museum" we wanted to pay a visit today - but despite the internet searches of the opening times - we stood in front of locked doors.

A gardener on the area informed us "today closed, tomorrow open". As we were already on-site, we used the location to take some pictures from outside at least.

On the parking place there were an old Mercedes ‘tail fin’ and an Oldsmobile Toronado in not roadworthy condition, but they both were good photographic models.

Behind the museum (located directly at the airport in Sharjah) a barren, sandy landscape extends, as made for taking photos with desert feeling.

Klaus drove the leading vehicle as always and got stuck in the sand at the return from the area.
No 4-wheel drive unfortunately and underrated the sand...

Wolfgang just wanted to unpack the tow rope, as there appeared support in the form of a local sheikh with a GM Tahoe V8, who opened the car boot, had a rope ready and two minutes later Klausis Delorean was again on solid underground.

On the way back to the hotel we had a refreshment break at the airport of Sharjah, at McDonalds we got icecream and cold drinks.
