05/07/2016 Reykjavik (Island)
'Gullni hringurinn' = 'The Golden Ring' or 'Golden Circle' is a route on which some of the most famous sights, starting from Reykjavik, are on a day to visit.
We had chosen the right time, this morning, the sun was shining on a clear blue sky.
The first destination was the former Thing Field Þingvellir, where the traditional legislative meeting was held in the Middle Ages.
Then we drove to the 'Great Geysir', which is the namesake for all geysers. The main geyser is quiet for a few decades, but the 300 ft. distant 'Strokkur' erupts every 5-7 minutes.
Another highlight of today's tour was the Gullfoss waterfall, which means 'Golden Waterfall‘, a truly impressive and awesome natural wonder.
The way back to Reykjavik led through breathtaking landscapes with snow-capped mountains and moss overgrown plains.
Iceland ponies can be seen everywhere

05/06/2016 Reykjavik (Island)
This morning shortly after 9 am, we received a message from Edda, our clerical assistant at the shipping company Eimskip, that the customs need copies of our driver's licenses and vehicle documents. So we took the rental car and delivered the papers, then everything went very fast. After two hours, Edda called us that the cars are ready for pickup at the Vehicle Yard, we only have to pay beforehand ...
After nearly three weeks we got back our DeLoreans, all three engines started without any problems!
At first Klausis car remains at the port, because he drove the rental car back to the rental company.
Since we had to deliver the car in Portland with a nearly empty tank, Andre and Wolfgang refuelled their DeLoreans before we drove the 30 miles to the airport car rental.
In return for the given upgrade to a BMW X1 three days before, it gave as promised photos of and with the staff of ProCar.
Then we drove back to the port where we picked up Klausis Delorean, which has also been refuelled.
Day's destination reached : Three world tour Deloreans driving in Reykjavik !

05/03/2016 - 05/04/2016 Longboat Key (USA) - Reykjavik (Iceland)
"Back to Europe"
As the Deloreans already arrived in Reykjavik last week, we started on Tuesday (05/03/2016) from the Tampa/Florida airport over Newark/New York and London to Iceland, where we arrived after about eleven hours flight time today in the morning (Wednesday) at 10:20 am.
In bright sunshine, but only 6 degrees 'warm', our first way was to ProCar car-rental. After we could thrilled the staff at the counter for our World Tour and distributed some flyers, there was an upgrade from Hyundai I30 to a almost new BMW X1.
That's how we like it…
With the rental car we drove the 31 miles from the airport Kevflavik to Reykjavik and visited there at first the Eimskip shipping company, which transported our Deloreans. After deposit of the vehicle documents, a date with the customs had to be arranged, unfortunately it didn't work today anymore, because also in Iceland (as in Germany) tomorrow will be an official holiday. So we'll receive the cars not until Friday after the inspection through the Iceland customs.
We used the afternoon for a short city walk in Reykjavik, and after dinner we fell in the beds of our rented apartment dead tired.
