Belfast (Ireland) – Delo Stüberl (Bavaria)

After the Delorean Euro Fest with great pictures of 80 Deloreans in front of the Titanic Museum,

we went back by ferry from Belfast to Cairnryan, from there across Scotland to Newcastle and then overnight by ship to Amsterdam.

The last stage of the Delorean World Tour ran more than 500 miles from Amsterdam to Bavaria, where we arrived in the early evening.

At the garage of the local Car Guild the final picture exactly arose where we started at 09-05-2015, 270 days ago.

05/26/2016 Sligo (Ireland) – Belfast (Northern Ireland)

FINISH !

After short 130 miles we reached Belfast, where we were welcomed near the Europa Hotel by the Delorean-Eurofest 2016 participants with a big hello. Many members of the German Delorean Club came to Northern Ireland, so we were pleased about many familiar faces!

With more than 50 DeLoreans we drove to the Northern Ireland Parliament Building in Stormont, a district of Belfast. There was, like at the Eurofest 2001, a photo shoot with all the cars in front of the impressing building. Unfortunately it started to rain, but anyhow there were lots of great pictures.

Here we also met many friends again, which we got to know during our World Tour, especially we were happy to see Rich from San Francisco, Skip from Los Angeles, Gordon from San Diego, Ints from Latvia and Angelo from Australia.

In the evening, the World Tour team officially opened the Delorean-Eurofest 2016:

After Eurofest 2016 "35 years Delorean" we go back to Germany on Monday, then we will publish more pictures and a final report.

05/25/2016 Limerick - Sligo (Ireland)

After four hours driving we reached Sligo, where Sven with World Tour Delorean 4 already expected us.

Right off his car was personalized with stickers, now the team is complete!

The last days our Deloreans got some dust and dirt, so all four cars received a thoroughly cleaning at the nearby petrol station.

Here Delorean owner Kenny Ward with his father John visited us, we'll also see him in Belfast again.

Also Wonderwoman, Superman and Batman were on the spot!

At the dinner in Sligo we saw another Delorean passing by, as it turned out, it was Renaud Lamy with girlfriend Clotilde Theliea from France, who also are on the way to Belfast and even stay in the same hotel as we!

05/24/2016 Cork - Limerick (Ireland)

Together with Sascha and Anna we drove today a part of the Wild Atlantic Way along the west coast of Ireland from Cork to Limerick. Even the weather was at its best, which is not always a matter of course in Ireland.

Now we know why Ireland is called 'The Emerald Isle' .

05/24/2016 Dublin/Tallagh - Cork (Ireland)

Davy Tynan with daughter Elouise and his Delorean time machine visited us this morning at the hotel to say goodbye from Dublin. We will meet him at the end of this week at the Euro Festival in Belfast.

Otherwise, the 262nd day of our World Tour was a simple driving day from Dublin / Tallaght on the coastal motorway and country roads to Cork.

There we were waiting for Anna and Sascha from Bayreuth, who are on the way to Belfast by Delorean and stay with us in the same Guesthouse. The two will join us tomorrow a part of the route to Limerick.

World Tour Delorean 4 has arrived on time at the Isle of Man, and will go by ferry to Northern Ireland on Wednesday.
