We had a first stop at the ‘Gateway to India’ which is the most famous monument of Mumbai. Right next to it there is the ‘Taj Mahal Palace Hotel’, one of the best and probably most expensive hotels in whole India. Innumerable masses of tourists and small traders were all over the place in front of the gate, which was  built in 1924.

Next stop were the ‘Hanging Gardens’ of Mumbai, under which the enormous water reserves for the megacity are, and a small market nearby.

Culture is nice but entertainment too. Thus we asked the driver to bring us over to the ‘Toys for Boys’ exhibition which is held this weekend. Here we found cars, motorcycles, watches, vine and lots of other ‘Toys for Boys’. Andre insisted on test-driving a Segway-clone.

By the way, here in India blowing the horn while driving is a must. Who does not use the horn every five seconds is doing something wrong… the lorries are even claiming the use of the horn while overtaking!
