05/17/2016 Hem (Netherlands) - Bruges (Belgium)
From Hem via Amsterdam and across the Belgian border to the Atomium in Brussels the first part of the tour led today.
After the photo session at Brussel's symbol we drove to Bruges, our today's destination. Here we explored the canal traversed picturesque old town with its historic buildings and the area around the central 'great market'.
A local hairdresser-shop we found in the city was visited to trim our hair back to a reasonable level.
At 6:30 pm we had an appointment with Andy, Philiep and Frederick with daughter Anais from the Belgian Delorean community. After the obligatory photos and presentation of the World Tour Deloreans there was a dinner with Andy and Philiep who already Wolfgang knew from Belgian Delorean meeting in 2014.

05/16/2016 Oldenburg (Germany) - Hem (Netherlands)
DeLorean Europe in Hem / Netherlands was our today's destination. After goodbye in Oldenburg and a 3.5 hours drive, most recently on the 32 km long Houtribdyke, owner Ed Uding welcomed us in his shop and showed us workshop and warehouse. We will also see Ed again at the Delorean Euro Festival in Belfast.

At Springer & Sohn in Oldenburg the World Tour DeLoreans got a technical service.

Meanwhile Klaus programmed the navigation systems with the route up to Belfast and prepared the ferry- and Eurotunnel tickets.

05/14/2016 Hirtshals (Denmark) - Oldenburg (Germany)
Our ferry arrived two hours late at 11:30 in Hirtshals, it took another hour until we were able to leave ferry with the DeLoreans.
With only two short breaks we drove the 420 miles to Oldenburg in just under seven hours, slowed by several construction sites and 20 minutes in a traffic jam on the A1 behind Hamburg.
The second break we took shortly after the German border in Flensburg, where Delorean owner Thilo welcomed and accompanied us a for a while.
In Oldenburg Andre's family, Astrid, Kai and Ilka from the Delorean family welcomed us. For dinner we had delicious asparagus, later, after three days on a ship, the World Tour team was happy to have a non-swaying bed ...
