05/21/2016 Stockport (England) - Dublin (Irland)
From Stockport we drove through the green landscape to Holyhead at the coast of Wales.
In Wales the traffic signs are written in two languages, Welsh and English, the Welsh city names are sounding a little bit strange for middle europeans like us.
After check in and boarding on time, our ferry left on schedule at 1:50pm to Dublin and reached the destination port after 3 hours.
Disembarkation in Dublin
Here we were welcomed by Delorean owner Declan Gantley with his daughter Alexandra, we had arranged to meet at the port on facebook.
Our fourth team member Sven took his World Tour Delorean today at the Deloman-garage in Augsburg. He already drove to Calais, we will meet him in Sligo/Ireland on Wednesday.

2016/05/20 London/Watford - Stockport (England)
Only a short detour on the way from the hotel to the motorway M1 there is the railway subway “Bridgeo-Bridge”. At this bridge the legendry 'Great Train Robbery' took place on August, 8th 1963 .
Here the moneybags were loaded from the train into the standing by getaway cars. Many movies tell the story of the robbery, e.g. 'Buster' or 'Prisoner of Rio'
We continued our tour over the M1 and later on picturesque english roads along fields, grasslands and through charming villages.
At half past three we reached Stockport and visited Kevin Hicks, a friend of Wolfgang. Kevin manufactures highly polished model cars and sculptures. Among others he builds the trophies for the Concours d’Elegance in Pebble Beach/California.
In the Delo-Stüberl there will be a mirror finished model as well.
Just as we reached Kevin's house, the right lower ball joint on Andre's Delorean broke down, but thanks to Wolfgang half a hour later the ball joint was replaced and the damage solved.
…and today we reached the 40,000 km mark (25,000 miles) on our tour!

05/18/2016 Bruges (Belgium) - Southend (England)
Once again an eventful day came to an end...
The Deloreans spent the night in the garage of our apartments in Bruges.
From there we started to Calais in France, where we booked the Eurotunnel-train.
At the terminal everything ran professional and fast, so that we passed the check-in in short time. 20 minutes before departure the boarding started and exactly at 12:50 pm the train left France. Because of the time difference of an hour between mainland and the British Isles we already arrived at 12:35 pm in Folkestone, that was a travel time of 35 minutes.
As we left the train, the weather was typical English, pouring rain !
After about 2,5 hours driving we reached Canvey Island, where Chris Nicolson's Delorean-workshop 'PJ Grady Europe' is located. Chris and Wolfgang know each other since many years, accordingly we had a warm welcome. Four english Delorean owners, Alistair, Mark, Justin and Jason also came to visit us and again we introduced the World Tour Deloreans with their technical details to a astonished 'expert audience'.
After three hours we had to say goodbye, even only for 8 days, because we'll all meet again at the Eurofest in Belfast next week.
Our hotel is located in a typical English neighborhood, also a red telephone box -unfortunately out of order- can be seen there.
