About, for Indian relations, well constructed roads we covered the 205 miles from Alipurduar to Guwahati in approx. five hours.

All of this can drive towards the own lane on an Indian highway:

Then we had an accident...
A biker passed André, made a swerve to the left, crashed against the Delorean, at that teared the exterior mirror off and tipped over. In such situations you should never stop as a foreigner, but drive on to the next cop or police office. But already in the next place a police petrol waited for us, the bad lucked rider probably have called there. The officers escorted us to the next police station and there in the
office of the chief of police, where shortly after also arrived the motorcyclist. This one and his pillion rider first made a show about injury and showed indignantly various abrasions. But what they didn't
expect, were our always running dashcams!
Wolfgang's cam recorded the complete accident, and after the presentation of the film the chief of the police was on our side, and the driver who was moaning just now was right meekly.
Finally all participants shaked hands and that's it.
Conclusion:The idea with the dashcams has paid off, without an evidence we wouldn't have gotten off so lightly!

Here is the proof video:
