10/28/2015 Mandalay - Bagan (Myanmar)

First stop on our way to Bagan today was the longest wooden bridge in Myanmar (1 mile);  which connects two old villages with each other near Mandalay . As always at such attractions there was a market with shops and restaurants.

After a short stage of 112 miles we reached  Bagan at about 1 pm and had plenty of time for a little cultural program. Our guide showed us the most beautiful temples of Bagan and gave us a brief insight into the Buddhist culture.

The day's highlight was the sunset, which we could enjoy from one of the few for tourists climbable temple complex with breathtaking views of the innumerable sanctuaries of Bagan.
