03/14/2016 Phoenix - El Paso (USA)

Today we drove 444 miles from Phoenix to El Paso on the Interstate 10 through Arizona, New Mexico and Texas

On the way they wanted to sell us a lot of nice things along the highways.

One sign was interesting to us „ The Thing“. The font reminded us to the John Carpenter movie from 1982 and made us curious.

Because we had to refuel anyway, we stopped at the rest area and bought  an admission ticket for one dollar . 'The Thing' turned out as an  old Indian mummy amidst and a collection of old rummage...

Shortly before the day's destination El Paso, we drove through Las Cruces, there was a huge inlclosure at the side of the Interstate with thousands and thousands of cattle, and it stank mightily. That means: close windows and air condition on recirculating air ...

Apparently Delorean Time Machines are common in New Mexico (Area 51 ???), because at the service areas on the highways you can buy  anywhere 1.21 gigawatts, and for $ 15 it´s even quite inexpensive ...
