At yesterday's dinner we met our hotel manager Michael Anthony, whose family is living here for 100 years and he knows probably everyone here in Darwin. He is very interested in our tour and he established contact to his friend Brian Measey, the boss of the biggest local car rental company. Brian imports cars to Australia every week and he has probably the best connections to all authorities.

At a meeting in his office we told him our story and we find out that Brian had crossed Australia with a Trabbi ( short for Trabant – a extinct car brand from former East Germany)

As we talked about the appointment for the quarantine inspection of our Deloreans , he was not able to help. Customs , Insurance , car licensing, all this things he could support, but at the quarantine agency he has no influence. So that means again waiting , waiting, waiting...

At the evening Michelle and Neil , our hotel manager's daughter and son-in-law  invited us for a beer, then the evening got longer and merry, so we got to know Darwin's nightlife…
