2015/12/11 Port Augusta – Adelaide (Australia)
Within 100 km the landscape and the temperature changed fundamentally. Shortly before Port Augusta the gaunt steppe had about 35 degrees Celsius. Here close to the ocean it is 15 degrees cooler, the landscape undulating and the vegetation much greener.
Lunch break at the salt lake.
Where could you visit Dublin, Salisbury, Waterloo, Windsor, Edinburgh and Virginia in one day? Only in Australia…
At 5 p.m. we met with Delorean owners from Adelaide at the Watermark restaurant. Five standard Deloreans and three Worldtour-Delos on the parking lot caused a sensation. Every car here was in very good condition and very neat. Once again we were astonished by the friendliness and hospitality of the Australians.
