Finally, we're on the road again!
At 9 o'clock we started from Vancouver to the US border in Blaine.
At the Canadian custom our carnets were stamped at the departure and the entry of the Deloreans was certified, after that we first of all got stuck in the traffic jam before the border. The following entry-procedure was done within 40 minutes, 6 dollars were paid for a stamp in the passport, and the World Tour Team could take country number 17 under the wheels.
Some miles after the border we made our first fuel stop on North American ground, the liter of petrol costs currently around 50 eurocents...
Our destination today was the Delorean workshop DMC Northwest in Seattle/Bellevue, here we were already expected by shop-owner Toby Peterson, Delorean-owner Andrew Wells as well as Oliver and Terry Holler with their time machine (www.tothefuture.org).
After two hours of Delorean-talk and presentation of our World Tour Deloreans we checked in at the nearby Days Inn Motel for the night, before the day ended with a common German-American dinner in a Chinese restaurant.
Here is our current timetable for the next weeks:
